Awakening the God Within

Most people believe they need God. They seek God for wealth, health, success, relationships, protection, or the fulfillment of countless worldly desires. From the perspective of the Chivality system, however, this understanding is incomplete.

The truth is that no one needs to seek God as something separate from themselves because God already exists within every human being.

God is not a person who grants wishes according to our desires. God is pure, infinite energy. The natural expression of this divine energy is peace. Therefore, whether God is experienced within or worshipped outside, the true blessing that God offers is inner peace.

Human beings often approach God with endless material expectations. Yet material achievements can provide only temporary happiness. Every happiness created by external circumstances carries within it the possibility of becoming unhappiness. What is gained today can be lost tomorrow. Therefore, happiness based on external conditions can never be permanent.

The greatest spiritual journey is not seeking God outside, but awakening the God within.

Peace, however, is different. Peace is independent of circumstances. It remains even when life presents challenges.

In the Chivality system, the indwelling God is called Chivam. Chivam resides in the "Chitha," the dimension beyond the ordinary mind. The mind is constantly filled with thoughts, desires, fears, expectations, memories, and emotions. As long as this mental activity continues, the presence of Chivam remains hidden.

When the mind becomes completely still, free from unnecessary thoughts and inner noise, Chivam naturally becomes active. This activation is not something created. It is the revelation of what has always been present.

As Chivam remains active, peace ceases to be an occasional experience and becomes one's natural state of being. A peaceful mind no longer runs after endless desires because inner fulfillment itself reduces unnecessary material cravings. One begins to seek only what is genuinely needed for life rather than what the restless mind continuously demands.

The strength of Chivam is not measured by miracles or supernatural powers. Its greatest expression is the transformation of the individual. Fear begins to disappear. Anxiety loses its grip. Worries gradually dissolve. Negative qualities weaken naturally because they cannot survive in the presence of deep stillness.

An active Chivam gives immense courage to face every situation in life with clarity, balance, and acceptance. Difficulties may still arise, but they no longer disturb one's inner peace. One lives with stability instead of emotional fluctuations.

The goal of spiritual life, therefore, is not to obtain more from God but to awaken the God that already exists within. Through the stillness of the mind, Chivam shines in its full strength, leading the individual from temporary happiness to permanent peace, from mental disturbance to bliss, and from human limitation to the Divine condition.
