Beyond Duality: The State of Chivam

In Chivality, liberation is not something to be attained from outside; it is an inner transformation. A human being suffers primarily due to his own negative side, the accumulation of negative qualities such as desires, fears, expectations, attachments, and various forms of mental disturbances. This collection of negativity forms the root of all suffering.

Liberation, therefore, begins with freedom from this negative side. As the negativity is gradually dissolved, what remains is the positive side of the individual. This positive side is not something newly created; it already exists within every human being, but remains overshadowed by negativity. When the negative layer is removed, the positive naturally begins to express itself and grow stronger.

Beyond negativity and positivity lies Chivam — the stillness where all duality ends.

However, in Chivality, the journey does not end even with positivity. The positive side is only a transitional phase. If it continues its journey to its ultimate completion, it undergoes a profound transformation and dissolves into Nothingness, or Zero. This state of Zero is not emptiness in a negative sense, but a state of absolute purity and total stillness.

This Nothingness is what is referred to as Chivam, the ultimate state of being. It is a condition beyond both negativity and positivity. In this state, the individual no longer exists as a separate entity; instead, there is only the presence of a single, universal, omnipotent energy.

This universal energy is not different from the individual; it is the individual’s own original nature. When a person realizes this, he realizes himself in the truest sense. This realization is the recognition of one's own original energy, which is ever-present but concealed by the layers of negativity and mental activity.

Thus, liberation in Chivality is twofold:

• Liberation from the negativity that causes suffering

• Realization of one’s true nature as the universal energy

The role of the Master is central in this process. Through the Master’s energy, the destruction of the negative side becomes possible. The practitioner does not struggle alone; the Master’s presence and energy actively work within, dissolving negativity at its root. What is retained is the purified positive essence, which ultimately merges into Nothingness.

In the end, even positivity is transcended. What remains is Chivam, pure, infinite, and beyond all dualities.
