Beyond the Division of Life

In Chivality, surrender to the Divine Master brings about a profound transformation in the seeker's way of living. As surrender deepens, the division between spiritual and material life gradually disappears. Spiritual and material life are no longer experienced as two separate paths but as one continuous expression of the Divine.
Ordinarily, people believe that spirituality belongs to meditation, prayer, or places of worship, while material life consists of work, family, relationships, wealth, and responsibilities. This division exists because the mind lives in duality.
When the mind dissolves through Silentation, constant remembrance of the Master, and complete surrender, duality gradually comes to an end. The seeker no longer separates life into "spiritual" and "material." Every action, every responsibility, and every moment becomes part of the same Divine journey.

The human mind is filled with desires, expectations, fears, attachments, likes and dislikes, and emotional reactions. These create the illusion that we are separate from the Divine. According to Chivality, the Divine is infinite Space, present everywhere. Every human being already exists within this Divine presence. There is no place where the Divine is absent.
Yet the ordinary mind feels disconnected, not because the Divine is far away, but because the mind is covered by its own negativity and impurities. Just as clouds hide the sun without removing it from the sky, mental impurities hide the awareness of the Divine without separating us from it.
The Divine has never left us. It is the mind that has forgotten its connection, and the Divine Master helps restore this forgotten connection.
Through constant remembrance of the Master, the seeker's awareness gradually returns to the Divine presence. As surrender deepens, the mind becomes quiet, and its emotional disturbances begin to dissolve. When anxiety, fear, resistance, and possessiveness disappear, the material aspects of life naturally come into harmony with the Divine order.
This does not mean that responsibilities disappear. The seeker continues to work, care for family, earn a livelihood, and fulfil every responsibility with sincerity. The difference is that these responsibilities are no longer carried with psychological burden. Anxiety is replaced by trust, fear by acceptance, and constant worry by inner peace.
The seeker understands that the Divine order is already operating throughout existence. Since the material world also exists within the Divine, it is not separate from spirituality; every event, every relationship, every opportunity, and every challenge unfolds within the same infinite Divine Space.
Therefore, there is no need to create conflict between worldly duties and spiritual practice. When the mind is surrendered, even ordinary daily activities become expressions of spirituality.
Working becomes worship. Serving the family becomes service to the Divine. Facing difficulties becomes spiritual learning. Success becomes gratitude, and failure becomes purification. Everything becomes part of the same Divine process.
One of the greatest obstacles to peace is living psychologically in the past or the future. The past creates regret, guilt, and emotional wounds, while the future creates fear, expectation, and uncertainty. The Divine, however, is always present in the Now.
Therefore, Chivality encourages the seeker to remain in the present moment, accepting what is unfolding while acting wisely and responsibly. Acceptance does not mean becoming passive; it means stopping unnecessary resistance to reality. Once reality is accepted, the awakened intellect naturally performs whatever action is required.
The seeker no longer carries the burden of trying to control everything. Instead, life is lived with the understanding: "Whatever comes, let me accept it. Whatever needs to be done, let me do it sincerely. Whatever result comes, let me receive it as part of the Divine order." This is true surrender.
As surrender becomes complete, the Divine Master's grace flows without obstruction. The mind becomes still, the intellect becomes clear, and the heart becomes peaceful. Material life and spiritual life become one.
The seeker discovers that nothing has ever been outside the Divine. Everything has always existed within the infinite Space of Chivam. The only thing that needed to disappear was the illusion of separation created by the restless mind. This is the blessing of surrender. This is the harmony of Chivality.
